SHAH ALAM, 16 DECEMBER 2025 \u2013\u2013 Elmina Lakeside Mall sets the stage for a season of generosity as Sime Darby Property Berhad (\u201cSime Darby Property\u201d or the \u201cGroup\u201d) has partnered with MINI Malaysia to launch a festive giving initiative. Running until 19 December 2025, this collaboration transforms the mall into a hub of goodwill, inviting the community to fulfil the holiday wishes of 120 underprivileged children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anchored by Sime Darby Property\u2019s commitment to building close-knit communities and MINI\u2019s global philosophy of \u201cBig Love\u201d, the campaign seeks to bridge the gap between the public and those in need. Central to this initiative is \u2018The Giving Post\u2019 located within Elmina Lakeside Mall, where a festive MINI Convertible display serves as the official drop-off point for Christmas gifts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Appollo Leong, Chief Operating Office \u2013 Township Development at Sime Darby Property, said, \u201cElmina Lakeside Mall is pleased to serve as the venue sponsor for this meaningful initiative. Its convenient access via the Guthrie Corridor Expressway and seamless connections across the Klang Valley, makes it easy for the community to stop by, participate, and be part of this charity drive. We hope to encourage the public to share the festive joy and ensure every child feels included in the celebrations.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To ensure the contributions make a tangible difference, the campaign will be supporting Rumah Kasih Harmoni Paya Jaras, a local welfare home caring for orphans and children from underprivileged backgrounds. Those visiting Elmina Lakeside Mall are encouraged to participate by selecting a numbered wish tab from the board at The Giving Post. Each tab represents a specific item on a child\u2019s wish list. Visitors are then invited to purchase the exact item listed and drop it off at The Giving Post, ensuring it reaches the intended child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the safety and hygiene of the beneficiaries, all giftsmust be brand-new and unopened items. The collection point will operate daily from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Elmina Lakeside Mall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative concludes on Saturday, 20 December 2025, with \u201cThe Big Love Drive\u201d. In a show of solidarity and automotive flair, a convoy of approximately 20 MINI owners will assemble at Elmina Lakeside Mall to load the collected gifts. The fleet will then transport the gifts directly to Rumah Kasih Harmoni, ensuring every child receives their present in time for the festive season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adding to the festive spirit, from 5 to 28 December,visitors to Elmina Lakeside Mall may also explore weekend MINI test drives, which offer an opportunity to experience the brand firsthand while being part of a wider community effort. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This collaboration highlights Sime Darby Property\u2019s broader vision of creating townships that are not only vibrant living spaces but also ecosystems of care and social responsibility. By partnering with like-minded brands, the Group continues to curate experiences that strengthen community values, encourage meaningful engagement and foster compassion among residents and visitors alike. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
